First off thank you so much for your support with Pop Art! You may have been with us from the very beginning or a new fan, but either way we  really appreciate all of your support along the way.

We are very excited to branch out our flavors into the sweet side of gourmet popcorn, but we need your help.  You have loved our Rosemary Truffle, White Cheddar Jalapeno, Thai Coconut Curry or White Pepper Parmesan, but now it is time to create sweet decadent flavors like Maple with Smoked Sea Salt, Honey Lavender, and Chocolate Chipotle.

We are launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for the equipment we need to produce quality sweet popcorn.   In order for us to create and produce this new line of popcorn we would need to purchase a 20-gallon carmalizer and cooling table.  We are offering a variety of fun rewards like the first bags of our new sweet line, variety packs of all our flavors, killer t-shirts, hand drawn trucker hats by real Pop Artists, or customized flavors that you will help develop.

Happy Days for Pop Art
Formerly known as “Happy Day Gourmet,” Pop Art combines non-GMO sourcing with great flavor.

Venessa and Michael Dobson have always been popular dinner guests. Sure, they both have interesting jobs and lives and friendly outgoing personalities, but it’s just possible that the real reason people love having them over is that they bring their popcorn.

Seriously. Popcorn. Who knew that the humble popped kernel of corn could inspire such admiration and so many dinner party invitations? But it’s true. The Dobsons had a reputation in their Brooklyn cadre of food-loving friends as the folks who made amazing flavored popcorn, and luckily for us they packed up all those kitchen experiments and moved to Utah, where their new business was born in July 2011.

Actors, filmmakers and Hollywood VIPs will get to sample some of Utah’s best artisan food products this Friday-Sunday, Jan. 20-22, when they visit the “RE:treat Lounge.”

The Lounge, which is the the filming hub for Entertainment Tonight, will be located at The SkyLodge, 201 Heber Ave.

The stars will get to sample Beehive Cheese, Castle Creek Wines, Creminelli Meats (owner Cristiano Creminelli is pictured here), Happy Monkey Hummus, Happy Day Gourmet Popcorn and Salsitas Mendoza. The products will be part of the gourmet s’mores and hot chocolate bar that will be offered on the rooftop bar.
