We LOVE popcorn!
We are Mike & Venessa Dobson and have 
been huge fans of this white fluffy snack since we were kids. Today, we are all grown up and crave more adventurous flavors. We started to play around in the kitchen and we quickly realized that popcorn is the perfect canvas to infuse with fun, out-of-the-box ingredients. This is where the idea of Pop Art came from.
We both have a background in the arts and appreciate the Pop Art movement for its ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. At Pop Art Snacks, our goal is to take this traditional All-American snack and elevate it to a new level of deliciousness.
With very humble beginnings, we started out making popcorn in our own kitchen. We had five small air poppers all going off at once, while we ran around the kitchen catching the kernels in a bowl. We would hand toss each bowl with spices and then fill up zip lock bags that we sold at Farmer’s Markets. Looking back now, we smile.
The response was very encouraging and we started to receive requests from specialty stores to carry our popcorn. We knew we were on to something and decided to take the next step and move into a professional commercial kitchen. This step allowed us to sell Pop Art Popcorn in high-end grocery stores and specialty markets.
Our goal is to create popcorn that is delicious, unique and healthy! We air pop organic corn and then use GMO-Free ingredients, hormone free cheeses and all natural sweeteners. Additionally, we are certified Gluten Free by the Celiac Sprue Association.
